The beach of Fontane Bianche (province Syracuse) Sicily

The beach of Fontane Bianche is a very famous beach with a sea that is very characteristic because of its shallow ground and its lukewarm water during the summer months.
The sea is so crystal clear and pure that you can even perceive the tiny fish that use to swim near the shore.

The beaches of Fontane Bianche are both free and private.
In the private beach sections you can rent chairs and umbrellas and there are several cafés, restaurants and services.
The free sections of Fontane Bianche are quite spacious and easily accessible. You can also find here several cafés, restaurants and toilets.


You can also find beautiful cliffs in Fontane Bianche which are particularly suitable for those who like to protect their privacy. This is the ideal place for diving enthusiasts and for everyone who wants to spend a calm holiday.
Of course there are no shops or cafés or other in the isolated places.
Fontane Bianche which is 7 miles away from Syracuse, is a characteristic holiday destination with a diameter of ca. 2miles.

On the way you find little shops, like Grocery stores, butcher shops, an Agip gas station, tobacco shops, a newsagent and not to forget the (Cuban) café that is famous for the best ice-cream in all of Fontane Bianche and Syracuse.

The Plemmirio, nature reserve, which offers its guests the ideal place to admire many different fish-, starfish-, and sea urchin species, is located only a few miles away from my B&B.

On Sicily the holiday is guaranteed and in Fontane Bianche on the south coast of Sicily you find sun, a crystal clear sea and very fine and bright sand. Not to forget, the charming island Ortigia with a more than 6000 year old history and culture is situated in Syracuse.
