Valentino Syracuse - B&B in Siracusa Fontane Bianche Sicily 

Valentino's B&B is situated approximately 12km south of Syracuse Sicily  and 9km north of Avola. Fontane Bianche is chosen chiefly by Italians as their favourite holiday destination. You can chose from sand or pebble beaches and the water is extremely clean. The pebble beach is located about 800m from Valentino's Bed and Breakfast.

 
The renovation of Valentino's Bed and Breakfast (a detached house) was completed at the beginning of 2009 and meets modern day standards. It has 3 bedrooms each with it's own bathroom (shower and toilet). It also contains a large bedroom with a separate bathroom (with a corner bath). Each room has air-conditioning (including heating), a TV and W-LAN access.

The breakfast room (living room) has a cosy fireplace that can also be used in winter. The kitchen is rustically furnished and is equipped with all the essential utensils that a "modern" kitchen must have (including a washing machine). The kitchen is naturally available to guests who rent the whole house.
Bicycles are also available to rent at Valentinos!

Food and Drink in Valentino’s B&B Syracuse Sicily.

There’s no need to worry about food and drinks; you can enjoy our breakfast buffet in the common room, on the roof terrace or on the veranda! On request you can also cook your own evening meal in our kitchen, which along with it’s rustical furnishings is also equipped with a modern gas oven and a dishwasher.

Alternatively a chef can, on request, prepare a typical (seasonal) Sicilian evening meal with dishes alternating daily! (Aperitivo, Primi, Secondi) Other cooking possibilities include the opportunity to use the pizza oven, which belongs to the establishment, and to receive a Sicilian “lesson” in pizza making from a true Sicilian.

Since we have three mandarin trees growing on site we serve fresh mandarins as a healthy, vitamin-rich bonus for breakfast from November to March. In addition we offer different regional wines.

Room Facilities -

Our cosy house offers you the choice of four rooms, each for two or three people (the third person can sleep in an extra bed). The rooms come with satellite TV and air-conditioning and the décor has an especially fitting Mediterranean feel. Private space is important to us, therefore each room is fitted with it’s own toilet and sink. The largest room has a separate bathroom and along with our “Standards” also comes with a large bath.

 

All guests are welcome to use our modern yet rustical kitchen and the common room with an open fire place. By means of a small flight of stairs you reach the roof terrace where you can sit back and relax on the many luxurious sofas.

Here you can indulge yourself in the magnificent panoramic view of the breathtakingly beautiful countryside, the back drop of the mountains against the Sicilian east coast or lose yourself in the deep blue waters of the Mediterranean. On clear nights you can even witness the lava explosions of Mount Etna with the naked eye.

High speed Wireless Internet is also available to quests for a small daily charge.

The 4-double bedroom house is also available to rent in the “winter months” (1.11-31.03).
The weekly prices are valid for the number of people given in brackets and include bedding, hand towels and final clean up at the end of the stay. Any costs that may arise for the air conditioning with the integrated heating function and the gas cooker in the kitchen will be calculated according to usage on departure. A deposit is also to be paid on arrival (according to the number of guests).

The story of Valentino’s B&B in Syracuse Fontane Bianche

At the age of twenty I moved to Munich to see, learn and experience a new way of life. In the meantime eighteen years have passed by and during this time I have learned a lot. I have especially learned to value things connected to my homeland, for example the culinary delights including the fruit and vegetables that grow there, and of course the fresh fish, the wine…. and lots more!

The weather in Sicily is mild and pleasant all year round and each sun-kissed season has something special to offer. For these reasons I decided to open a Bed and Breakfast in Fontane Bianche for tourists, so that other people can also experience the beauty Sicily has to offer.

The weekly rates are given in brackets for the number of people including bed linen, towels and cleaning. Possible costs for the air conditioning system with integrated heating and the gas stove in the kitchen will be charged on the spot. On site is also a security deposit (depending on occupancy of the house) to be paid.
